15 years passed since the assassination Ex-PM Benazir Bhutto

Karachi: 15 years have passed since the murder of former Prime Minister and People’s Party Chairperson Benazir Bhutto, but the mystery of this murder has not been solved yet.

Former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto was martyred in a suicide attack on December 27, 2007 along with 27 workers at the main gate of Liaquat Bagh while returning after a historic meeting at Liaquat Bagh.

Regarding the Benazir Bhutto murder case, 4 inquiries were made by the police, FIA, Scotland Yard, the United Nations, 7 challans were presented, 12 judges were changed, 291 appearances were made, 57 witnesses appeared. All five were declared innocent and acquitted.

The court sentenced 2 police officers, then CPO Saud Aziz and SP Khurram Shehzad, to 10 years in prison only for poor security.

The case is expected to be heard in the High Court Rawalpindi Bench at the end of January 2023, let’s see what the High Court will decide.

The 15th death anniversary of Shaheed Ms. Benazir Bhutto will be celebrated with great devotion and respect at Khudabakhsh Bhutto. Foreign Minister and Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Co-Chairman former President Asif Ali Zardari and other central and provincial leaders will address the public meeting.

Minister of Labor and Manpower Sindh and President Pakistan Peoples Party Karachi Division Saeed Ghani has left Karachi with a convoy of more than 150 buses for Larkana Garhi Khuda Bakhsh.

Saeed Ghani says that in connection with the 15th anniversary of martyred Ms. Benazir Bhutto, a public meeting will be organized on December 27 at 2 pm.

Apart from this, on the occasion of the anniversary, the PPP has prepared a rally venue in Garhi Khudabakhsh Bhutto, while reception camps have been established in Garhi Khudabakhsh Bhutto, Nodero and Larkana.

Walk-through gates and CCTV cameras have been installed around the public meeting, more than 8,000 personnel will perform security duties.

On the occasion of the death anniversary of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, condolence gatherings and various events organized by the People’s Party will be organized in all small and big cities across the country including Karachi, in which Fatiha will be recited for Ms. Benazir Bhutto.
