His Excellency Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO of ENOC and Co-Chairman of MPGC 2023, said: “We are delighted to host the Middle East Petroleum & Gas Conference. As the world’s energy landscape continues to evolve rapidly, this year’s conference theme, ‘Re-think, Re-strategize and Re-boot’, is particularly timely. At ENOC, we remain committed to driving the conversation around energy transition and sustainability, and we look forward to engaging with industry leaders and experts on these critical topics.
“We are honoured to have the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, and we are confident that MPGC 2023 will be a resounding success.”
Dave Ernsberger, Head of Market Reporting & Trading Solutions, S&P Global Commodity Insights and Co-Chairman of MPGC 2023, said: “Middle Eastern refineries are providing critical supplies to the global markets at a time when trade flows are under intense restructuring, helping balance the markets at a time when demand patterns are changing quickly. MPGC will bring together leading participants from across the marketplace to consider where this will take us over the rest of 2023 and beyond.”
This year’s MPGC 2023 theme is Re-think, Re-strategize and Re-boot: The Middle East Energy Markets in Transition and the conference will address the global oil and gas flows affected by sanctions and issues on energy security, geopolitical tumult, and actions on emission reductions. It will examine the supply of liquified natural gas (LNG) and its trading flows; how LNG supports the long-term sustainability of energy supplies; and the role of Middle Eastern Refiners in meeting emerging market fuel demand, plus the continued strong growth in petrochemicals demand from society.
MPGC 2023 will attract participants from the Middle East, Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas including leading traders, oil majors, national oil companies, refiners, professional consultants and digital technologists, as well as banks and exchanges, legal firms, regulators, renewable energy players, and other supply/service companies.
