Peshawar: Four most wanted terrorists were killed in a two-way exchange of fire with the counter-terrorism force in Singo Sarband area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to CTD spokesperson, Counter Terrorism Department Peshawar Region and security agencies received information from secret sources that a group of terrorists is present in the area of Singo Sarband for a major terrorist operation.
As soon as the information was received, the security forces and CTD personnel went to the location to arrest the terrorists.
There was a fierce exchange of fire between CTD, security forces and terrorists. As a result, four terrorists were killed, identified as Zarmlok alias Usman, Muhammad Saeed alias Professor, Shahid Hussain alias Akhtar and Abdul Qayyum alias Abdul Rabar.
According to officials, three terrorists belonged to Bara district of Khyber while one belonged to Badh Bir area of Peshawar. According to the latest information, a heavy police force has reached the spot and is conducting an operation to arrest the escaped terrorists in the area.
