5 terrorists of banned TTP arrested from Punjab

Lahore: CTD arrested 5 terrorists of banned TTP network from Multan, Lahore, Gujranwala in a major operation.

According to the authorities, the terrorists were identified as Abdul Samad, Sohail, Ali Rehman Zarif, Noor Abbas. Explosives, arms, grenades were recovered from them.

Four cases have been registered against the terrorists and they have been shifted to an undisclosed location for investigation.

This week, on the instructions of IG Punjab, 452 combing operations were conducted along with security agencies, during which 208 suspects were arrested and 138 cases were registered. During the operations, 22,800 people were interrogated.
