The Middle East Broadcasting Networks, Inc. (MBN) is seeking a well informed journalist to create guest appearance ideas and secure guests  for our News team at our  Dubai office in UAE.

The Interview Producer maintains an up to date list of possible guests for all MBN output, grow and improve the list it as per the news agenda requirements. The Interview Producer  researches the topic and the guest, prepares interview questions, and ensures their arrival on set and serves as a newsroom ambassador whether the guest is appearing via link or during the guests stay at the station.

The incumbent maintains steady contact with assignment desk and bureaus to anticipate and determine appropriate guests for interviews, and makes sure all guests are pre- interviewed to be ready for

the requested segment. The Interview Producer keeps an active contact network and have contacts for phone interviews in response to breaking  news, the incumbent completes guest honorarium at

the end of each month, submit to business manager for prompt payment to guest.

​Candidates are required to have:

• At least a degree in journalism or communications.
• A minimum of 2 years of TV experience in a media production environment.
• An interest in international and domestic political news and events.
• Ability to reach out and cultivate a large talented, informed network of contacts who can address relevant topics on air in a professional manner.
• Ability to make quick decisions regarding appropriate guest for breaking news
• Proficiency in Microsoft office suite.
• Confidence and excellent rapport when interacting with all levels of staff.
• Ability to accommodate flexible work schedule to support 24/7 news environment.
