There will never be ‘Martial law’ in Pakistan, President

President Dr. Arif Alvi has said that democracy has been stabilized in Pakistan, so martial law cannot be imposed now and there is no danger of the country defaulting, but he is convinced of early elections to solve economic and political problems. .

President Mamkat Dr. Arif Alvi while talking to private media said that there is a political and emotional situation on the political scene at the moment, if there is a discussion, the political temperature will decrease. Ishaq Dar also has a positive attitude regarding the discussion. .

The President said that Ishaq Dar gave various suggestions regarding import in today’s meeting while I gave suggestions to the Finance Minister regarding energy saving measures.

He said that the new military leadership is serious about staying away from politics. Now all the responsibility falls on politicians, politicians should be serious together to work, problems can be solved by talking to each other. The new Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir is a good man, hopefully he will reduce the mistrust between institutions.

Arif Alvi said that the appointment of the Army Chief for the next three years has been done in a good way. When there was a consultation in Britain on the appointment of the Army Chief, there was no harm in taking advice from the people present here. Consultation is the best if there is a deadlock. The problem increases, Imran Khan was told about the consultation two or three days ago and nothing else was discussed about the appointment in the meeting.

The President of the State said that democracy in Pakistan has become strong and stable, so there is no possibility of imposing martial law and, God willing, the country will never default.

He said that I am convinced that early elections can be a better solution to the country’s problems. People should have confidence that the government belongs to their mandate. Whoever wins the elections should have a public mandate.

Arif Alvi said that people say that Imran Khan should not have come out of the assembly, while Imran Khan’s public popularity increased after he left the assembly. Elections are the best way to communicate with the people, people are in trouble, so they see a ray of hope in the elections, if the opposition and the government sit down and talk, something constructive can come out for Pakistan. The government should focus on controlling inflation and other problems.
