DUBAI: Dubai’s education sector is entering a new era with the launch of the emirate’s first school-based Innovation Lab, a dynamic learning space designed to equip students with the skills needed for a future shaped by artificial intelligence (AI) and sustainability.
The lab provides an interactive environment where students engage in hands-on projects involving programming, robotics, 3D printing, virtual reality, and environmental innovation. It aims to foster critical and creative thinking while connecting academic learning to real-world challenges faced by communities.
One notable example is the iHub Innovation Lab at Vernus International School in Dubai Silicon Oasis, which combines technology-driven education with environmental awareness. Students at the lab work on projects spanning robotics, VR, and sustainability-focused initiatives, reinforcing the link between innovation and social responsibility.
