Quetta: Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir on the occasion of visit to Khuzdar emphasized on best operational preparedness to thwart efforts to destabilize Balochistan.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir visited Khuzdar and Basima areas of Balochistan. Given and briefed on the steps to be taken to ensure a peaceful and safe environment.
On the arrival of Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir in Balochistan, Corps Commander Quetta Lieutenant General Asif Ghafoor received a warm welcome.
The ISPR said that the army chief emphasized on best operational preparedness to thwart efforts to destabilize Balochistan.
General Syed Asim Munir while talking to the soldiers in Balochistan said that they are aware of the nefarious intentions of the external enemies to spoil the peaceful environment in Balochistan, that is why the focus is being placed on the deployment and operations of the army in the province.
According to ISPR, the Army Chief said on this occasion that he will provide a favorable environment for socio-economic development in Balochistan.
