Menassah Showcases 2,000 Emirati Books at Al Ain Book Festival 2025

Company strengthens support for local authors and publishing industry at 16th edition of cultural event

Sharjah: Menassah Distribution Company is participating in the 16th edition of the Al Ain Book Festival, launched by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre on November 24 at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium, as part of its ongoing commitment to promoting Emirati culture, knowledge and the book industry.

The festival features the participation of 75 Emirati publishing houses and offers a diverse programme including book exhibitions, author talks, creative workshops and interactive activities for families and youth across Al Ain’s key heritage and public venues.

At its pavilion, Menassah is showcasing 494 titles across various literary and knowledge fields, representing nearly 2,000 books from participating publishers. The initiative aims to expand access to Emirati content and highlight the growing competitiveness of local creative works at both regional and global levels.

Director General of Menassah Distribution Company, Rashid Al Kous, said the Al Ain Book Festival plays an important role in strengthening the community’s relationship with books and knowledge, while also reviving Al Ain’s historical role in preserving literary and oral traditions.

He added that Menassah continues to develop new distribution channels to support Emirati authors and publishers and strengthen the country’s knowledge ecosystem. Through its participation, the company seeks to enhance audience engagement, broaden readership for local content and contribute to the UAE’s cultural and creative growth.

Menassah also reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Emirati publishing by presenting local publications at major cultural events inside and outside the UAE.
