Over two million tickets released; prices start at INR100 and LKR1,000

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has launched the first phase of ticket sales for the Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, releasing more than two million tickets for fans across the world.

Tickets in India start at INR100, while in Sri Lanka — the co-host — prices begin at LKR1,000, making this edition one of the most affordable global cricket tournaments ever staged.

The ICC said the low and accessible pricing aims to ensure cricket lovers from all backgrounds have a fair chance to attend matches during the landmark 10th edition of the T20 World Cup. Details of Phase-II ticket sales will be shared later.

ICC CEO Sanjog Gupta called the first phase of ticket sales an important step in delivering the most accessible ICC event in history.
“Our vision is clear: every fan, regardless of background or means, should have the chance to enjoy a world-class cricket experience inside stadiums,” he said. “With tickets starting from just INR100 and LKR1000, we are opening the gates wide and inviting millions to be part of the energy and emotion only stadium cricket can offer.”
