Pakistani firms showcase safety solutions at Intersec 2026 in Dubai

Six companies participate under TDAP as global security exhibition opens at Dubai World Trade Centre

DUBAI: The 27th edition of Intersec, the world’s largest business exhibition for security, safety and fire protection, opened on January 12, 2026, at the Dubai World Trade Centre, bringing together more than 1,400 exhibitors from over 60 countries and an expected 50,000 trade visitors.

This year, six Pakistani companies are participating in the exhibition under the auspices of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan to showcase their products and services to international buyers. The Pakistan Pavilion was inaugurated by Pakistan’s Consul General Hussain Muhammad along with Trade and Investment Counsellor Ali Zeb Khan.

Pakistani exhibitors said international platforms such as Intersec play a vital role in enhancing the country’s export potential, particularly in the UAE, GCC markets and other global destinations.

Addressing the inauguration ceremony, Hussain Muhammad said Pakistan’s presence at major global exhibitions like Intersec reflected its commitment to strengthening trade relations and highlighting its industrial and technological capabilities in the safety and security sector.

He said such events provide Pakistani companies with valuable opportunities to explore new markets, build business linkages and expand their global footprint.
