Ajman’s departments keen to serve public interest better

AJMAN: The Department of Finance in Ajman recently signed a memorandum of understanding with the Department of Human Resources in Ajman to strengthen collaboration between government agencies to serve the public interest better.

The agreement outlines a framework for financial training programmes designed to enhance the abilities and skills of employees specialising in financial work across local government agencies in the emirate.

The programmes will help increase efficiency and effectiveness by improving financial performance and aligning with each department’s strategic plans.

The memorandum of understanding was signed by His Excellency Marwan Ahmed Al Ali, Director General of the Department of Finance in Ajman, and His Excellency Rashid Abdul Rahman bin Gibran Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Human Resources Department in Ajman.

His Excellency Marwan Al Ali emphasised the Department of Finance’s unwavering dedication to enhancing financial work in the Emirate of Ajman by developing financial employees’ skills and abilities.

He reiterated that cooperation between the Department of Finance and the Human Resources Department in Ajman is a significant stride towards this objective.

Al Ali expressed the department’s eagerness to solidify partnerships and join forces with different government agencies and departments to promote sustainable economic growth in the emirate and bolster its competitiveness.

For his part, His Excellency Rashid Abdul Rahman bin Gibran Al Suwaidi emphasised the significance of the memorandum in accomplishing the government’s objectives through collaborative efforts between the two entities.

He underpinned the department’s dedication to offering training programmes and professional certifications in specialised and scientific fields to all Ajman government employees of different ranks, specialities, and career levels based on the requirements of government agencies.

The memorandum outlines a comprehensive plan to provide specialised, advanced, and effective training programmes in finance and accounting supervised by a carefully selected group of experts in their respective fields. These programmes were designed to improve Ajman’s financial sector while simultaneously supporting and unifying joint efforts, strengthening cooperation mechanisms, exchanging experiences, and integrating roles with government agencies.

These objectives were developed within an institutional framework and in line with strategic plans, ensuring the efficiency of all training programmes.
