Islamabad: The government allies have entrusted the full authority to appoint the Army Chief and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

Under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, a consultative meeting of the allies was held at the Prime Minister’s House, in which the country’s political situation and the issue of important appointments were consulted.
