Company highlights AI-driven farming and global export expansion

ABU DHABI: ALSAMARAT Trading Company showcased its wide range of locally cultivated agricultural products at the Abu Dhabi Food Week Exhibition held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC).

The company, which manages 16 farms across the UAE, produces around 30 types of fruits and vegetables, including lettuce, zucchini, tomatoes, okra, melon, and pumpkin. These products are distributed in the local market and exported to several countries such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Germany, and Sweden.

Amrou Shahin, Chairman of the Board of ALSAMARAT Trading Company, said the firm is committed to expanding its operations to meet growing demand. “We are keen to expand our operations in the local market by increasing production and diversifying the types of fruits and vegetables we cultivate. We also aim to open new international markets in addition to the existing ones,” he said.

Shahin noted that ALSAMARAT’s farms use modern agricultural techniques and technologies, including artificial intelligence tools integrated into a smart farm management application. This innovation, he said, has improved production efficiency, reduced waste, and enhanced overall product quality.
