Sharjah: Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi paid a significant visit to Zulekha Hospital Sharjah, following an invitation from Dr. Zulekha Daud, Founder and Chairperson of the Zulekha Healthcare Group. The Ambassador was warmly welcomed by Dr. Zulekha Daud and Ms. Zanubia Shams, Co-Chairperson of the Group. The visit was attended by several Pakistani doctors currently serving at the hospital.
During the visit, Ambassador Tirmizi was briefed on the extensive healthcare services provided by branches of Zulekha Hospital in Dubai and Sharjah. Established in 1992, the Sharjah branch was the first of its kind, with the Dubai branch opening in 2004. Both facilities now host around 200 doctors each, with 25-30 of them being Pakistani nationals. The hospitals are renowned for their commitment to offering high-quality, cost-effective healthcare to underprivileged individuals and families across the UAE.

Ambassador Tirmizi praised the hospital’s remarkable contributions to healthcare and expressed his admiration for the professionalism and expertise of the entire medical team. He commended the Pakistani doctors for their integral role and humanitarian efforts within the hospital. Additionally, he encouraged Dr. Zulekha and her team to collaborate with the Pakistan Medical Center at the Pakistan Association Dubai, aiming to expand healthcare facilities for deserving expatriates, particularly those from Pakistan.
The visit underscored the strong ties between the Pakistani medical community and the Zulekha Healthcare Group, highlighting the shared commitment to advancing healthcare services in the region.
