Ambassador Tirmizi holds productive meeting with Undersecretary Al Hawi

DUBAI: Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates Faisal Niaz Tirmizi had a highly productive and forward-looking meeting with H.E. Mohamed Al Hawi, Undersecretary, Ministry of Investment, UAE in Dubai on Friday.
During the meeting, both sides conducted a thorough review of the progress made on the seven MoUs signed between Pakistan and the UAE, which encompass various sectors such as energy, agriculture, infrastructure development, finance, and technology.


They acknowledged the significant strides that have been made in implementing these agreements, highlighting the tangible benefits they have brought to both countries’ economies.
In addition, they noted the positive momentum generated by recent high-level exchanges between the leadership of Pakistan and the UAE. These diplomatic engagements have served to strengthen the strategic partnership and enhance cooperation across multiple fields.
Both Ambassador Tirmizi and Undersecretary Al Hawi expressed optimism regarding the future trajectory of this relationship, emphasising the importance of continued collaboration at the highest levels.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange views on how to further deepen bilateral trade and investment ties. They discussed avenues for expanding trade volumes and identifying new areas of mutual interest that could lead to enhanced investment flows.
The two sides underscored the importance of facilitating ease of doing business, promoting joint ventures, and encouraging private sector involvement to maximise the potential of their economic cooperation. Both officials reiterated their commitment to fostering a robust and dynamic economic partnership that contributes to the prosperity and development of both nations.
