Abu Dhabi: Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi visited TRENDS Research and Advisory, a leading UAE-based independent research institution, where he was warmly received by Dr. Mohamed Abdulla Al Ali, CEO of the institution, along with his team.
Established in 2014, TRENDS Research and Advisory has gained prominence for its in-depth research and analysis on geopolitical, economic, and social developments at both regional and global levels. The institution has steadily expanded its influence through research papers, reports, trend analyses, and participation in international book fairs, while actively collaborating with academic institutions and policy experts around the world.
During the visit, Dr. Al Ali briefed Ambassador Tirmizi on the institution’s mission, ongoing initiatives, and its growing international presence. Ambassador Tirmizi commended TRENDS for its impactful work and expressed keen interest in fostering collaborative ties between TRENDS and relevant stakeholders in Pakistan.

Both parties reaffirmed the strong and historic ties between the United Arab Emirates and Pakistan and expressed a shared commitment to advancing cooperation in the field of research. The visit concluded with a mutual understanding to explore concrete avenues of partnership to strengthen academic and policy-oriented collaboration between the two countries.
