Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar takes oath as Pakistan’s eighth caretaker PM

ISLAMABAD: Former senator Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar took oath as the eighth caretaker prime minister of Pakistan on Monday.

President Dr Arif Alvi administered the oath of the office to Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar at the Aiwan-e-Sadr.

Former prime minister Shehbaz Sharif and former members of the federal cabinet also attended the ceremony.

Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani and other high-ranking officials were also present on the occasion.
