Appeal for polygraphic test of Imran Khan sets for hearing

Gujranwala Anti-Terrorism Court has approved the request for a polygraph test of PTI Chairman Imran Khan.

The Imran Khan shooting case was heard in the court, Mian Dawood Advocate presented arguments on behalf of accused Naveed Bashir.

The court issued a notice on the request to conduct a polygraphic test of Imran Khan, while it also issued a notice on the request of all the injured persons of the FIR to conduct a polygraphic test.

The court also issued a notice on the request to seize the mobile phones of all the injured including Imran Khan, Senator Ejaz Chaudhry for forensic purposes.

During the arguments, Mian Dawood Advocate took the position that polygraphic test can be done on the accused, so why not all the injured witnesses?

According to the lawyer of the accused, the mobile phones of Imran Khan, Senator Ejaz Chaudhry and other injured people can be important evidence, so the mobile phones of Imran Khan and other injured people should be seized immediately and the mobile phone from which Senator Ejaz Chaudhry tweeted. That too should be taken into possession.

The accused’s lawyer said that the JIT is not collecting the original evidence in this case, if the accused’s alleged phones can be forensically tested, why can’t forensics be done on all the injured witnesses? The JIT is discriminating against the accused Naveed in the investigation of this case. The medical reports of the injured in the incident are required by the accused to pursue the case.

The court also issued a notice on the request to provide the medical reports of all the injured including Imran Khan to the accused and ordered that the response to all 6 requests be submitted by January 19.
