Rawalpindi: Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir has expressed determination to root out terrorism and said that we will achieve lasting peace as a nation.
According to Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir visited the Peshawar Police Lines blast site. The Army Chief met police officers and jawans and appreciated the bravery and contribution of KP Police and law enforcement agencies in the fight against terrorism.
The Army Chief said that KP Police is one of the bravest and has fought the war against terrorism as a frontline force.
He also appreciated the high morale of the KP Police and paid tribute to the police martyrs who laid down their lives for the defense of the motherland.
The Army Chief said that we as a nation will together eradicate this menace of terrorism till lasting peace and God willing we will achieve it.
