In a recent operation in the Sambaza area of Zhob district, Balochistan, a Pakistan Army major bravely led his troops in an exchange of fire with terrorists. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that during the intense encounter, Major Babar Khan, 33, from district Mianwali, made the ultimate sacrifice, while three terrorists were eliminated.
The ISPR stated that the security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the remote region, successfully engaging the terrorists’ stronghold. Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were seized from the militants.

Despite the loss, the resolve of the security forces remains strong. A sanitization operation is underway to ensure the area is free of any remaining threats.
This incident follows a recent success where security forces neutralized six terrorists in a similar operation in North Waziristan district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The military continues its efforts to thwart any attempts to disrupt peace and stability in the region.
