A five-member larger bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Atta Bandial will hear the case at 1 o’clock tomorrow. The bench also includes Justice Ejaz-ul-Ahsan, Justice Mazahar Ali Akbar, Justice Jamal Khan Mandu Khel and Justice Muhammad Ali Mazahar.
The JIT set up to investigate the Arshad Sharif murder case will submit its report to the court. Before going to Kenya, the Special JIT submitted its report on the Arshad Sharif murder case.
It may be noted that earlier, on January 5, the suo motu case was heard. The Special JIT has so far recorded the statements of 41 people. The investigation consists of 3 parts: Kenya, UAE and Pakistan.
During the last hearing, Arshad Sharif’s widow had expressed distrust on the 2 members of the Special JIT and said that the JIT members are subordinate officers of the accused.
