Islamabad: FIA has started investigation into the alleged audio of former Punjab Chief Minister Pervez Elahi and his lawyer. It was decided to file a case after the audio was proved to be genuine in forensics.
In the case of former Chief Minister Punjab Pervez Elahi’s audio leak, the Interior Minister gave permission to the FIA to investigate, after which the FIA started a regular investigation of the leaked audio.
FIA sources say that the forensics of the audio exposed by Parvez Elahi and his lawyer have been decided, these audios will be sent to Lahore for forensics.
According to FIA sources, after the forensic report of the audio, the investigation will enter the next phase, the forensic report will be provided to the Interior Ministry and a case will be registered if it is genuine.
