Balochistan’s development top priority of govt: PM

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday said that development of Balochistan is the top priority of the government.

He expressed these views during his meeting with Balochistan’s Acting Governor Jan Muhammad Jamali and Senator Sana Jamali, who called on the PM.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the welfare of Balochistan was of vital importance, adding that the government will provide equal opportunities to the people of Balochistan at par with other provinces.

According to PM Office, the meeting discussed the political situation and the ongoing development projects in Balochistan.

Jan Jamali and Senator Sana apprised the prime minister of the pace of development in the province and appreciated him for taking steps to improve operations at Gwadar port.
