Bilawal Urges UN for action plan to deal with Islamophobia

Washington: Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has urged the United Nations to create an action plan to deal with Islamophobia, saying that Islamophobia is the main problem of today’s era and hatred against Islam is being systematically spread in the world.

While addressing the ceremony related to Islamophobia, he said that the World Day against Islamophobia is being celebrated for the first time under the United Nations. Everyone has to play a joint role in combating Islamophobia.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that Islam is a religion of peace and tolerance, the religion of Islam teaches peace and tolerance, Muslims are being targeted by fascist policies in the world. The purpose of bringing matters like hijab into politics is to target Islam.

He said that terrorism has nothing to do with any religion, terrorism has been associated with Islam.
