Karachi: In a meeting chaired by IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon at the Central Police Office, the security of CPEC and non-CPEC and other Chinese residents including the overall law and order situation and all the necessary measures were reviewed.
On this occasion, IG Sindh said that a large number of Chinese experts and residents are associated with the ongoing CPEC and non-CPEC projects in Sindh, so the police is monitoring the movement and movement of Chinese residents in the province. Applicants and their sponsors should also be in constant contact with the Chinese Consulate to obtain information about the transfer and residence locations.
He said that the relationship between the police and the relevant stakeholders should also be given importance regarding the security of the Chinese involved in the Non-CPEC project. During the meeting, DIGSPUC gave a detailed briefing on the number of ongoing CPEC and non-CPEC projects in Sindh and the related Chinese security measures.
On which the IG Sindh gave instructions to install CCTV cameras at all the above mentioned places and locations and keep a check on them from time to time as well as briefing the officers and men on security duties and make them diligent, alert and ready at all times. Steps like keeping should also be ensured.
IG Sindh said that the implementation of the security plan prepared regarding the security of the Chinese working on CPEC and non-CPEC projects in the province should be made possible on a priority basis and in this regard all stakeholders should cooperate with the police at all levels. Cooperate.
The IG Sindh gave instructions that the travel and movement of Chinese experts and staff engaged in the completion of various projects in Sindh should be secured and in this regard the relevant zones, ranges and districts should be in close contact with the Motorway Police.
