RAWALPINDI: Fayyadh bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, Chief of General Staff of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, called on Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, at the Joint Staff Headquarters in Rawalpindi.
According to ISPR, the meeting focused on the evolving global and regional security environment. Both sides discussed concrete measures to further deepen military-to-military engagement and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening defence and security cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
The CJCSC reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding the territorial integrity of Saudi Arabia and ensuring the protection of Harmain al-Sharifain.

The visiting Saudi military chief praised the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces and acknowledged their sacrifices in the fight against terrorism. He also appreciated the contributions of the CJCSC in further strengthening the strategic relationship between the two countries.
Earlier, upon arrival at the Joint Staff Headquarters, a smartly turned-out tri-services contingent presented a Guard of Honour to the visiting dignitary.
