Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah was met by United Arab Emirates Ambassador Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Alzaabi at the Chief Minister’s House. The Chief Minister thanked the UAE Ambassador for helping the flood victims.
Murad Ali Shah said that water drainage has been completed from most of the areas while water will be removed from some areas through pumping machines.
He said that we are trying our best to prepare the land for the wheat crop so that wheat shortage can be avoided next year.
The Sindh Chief Minister said that due to the war in Ukraine, the problem of food shortage may arise in the region, so we are trying our best to implement wheat cultivation in an affordable way.
Sindh Chief Minister said that we are trying our best to build the victims’ houses as soon as possible so that they can be shifted to their homes happily.
He said that we are fully aware of the sufferings of the victims and we are taking all effective measures for their rehabilitation and the Sindh government is trying hard to provide them food grains.
UAE Ambassador Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Al Zabi said that our relations with Pakistan are brotherly and we are with each other in every difficult hour.
