Coalition parties rejected Imran’s demand of early Election

Islamabad: The coalition parties of the government have rejected the demand for early elections and said that when the elections are to be held in the country, it will be decided by the coalition parties. I will deal with the takers according to the law.

According to Sources, in a joint statement issued on Monday, the statements and accusations against former President Asif Ali Zardari, leader of Pakistan Muslim League (N) and former Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif were strongly condemned by the coalition parties.

The joint statement said that the Prime Minister of Pakistan will decide on the appointment of the Army Chief according to the law, this appointment will not be based on the intimidation, threat and dictation of foreign-funded sedition, the Army Chief, the leadership of sensitive institutions, officers, including the Chief Election Commissioner. The purpose of targeting others is ‘blackmailing’ which is not exactly a political behavior but part of a conspiracy which will not be allowed to succeed. It is clear in the constitution and law that appointment to other positions including the army chief is the constitutional authority of the prime minister.

The statement said that the person deprived of power is targeting the national institutions under a well-thought-out agenda. The law will be dealt with, the constitution, democracy and system will not be allowed to be enslaved on the basis of bullying and intimidation.

The statement also clarified that the economy of the country and the rehabilitation of the flood victims is the first national priority at this time which will not be compromised, the government, institutions and the people agree that political instability will not be allowed. While the process of derailing the economy and accessing resources to flood victims will not be allowed to be affected in any way.

The statement said that after the by-elections held on October 16, 2022, the number of seats in the National Assembly of the coalition government has increased from 174 to 176, while PTI’s 8 seats in the National Assembly have decreased due to the arrogance of sedition.
