Rawalpindi: The delegations of both countries met Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir separately at the General Headquarters (GHQ).
According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), Army Chief Syed Asim Munir met with Saudi Ambassador Nawaf Saeed A. Al-Maliki and UAE Ambassador Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Saleem Al Zabi at Journal Headquarters (GHQ). Matters of mutual interest were discussed.
It should be noted that the ambassadors of the friendly countries met General Syed Asim Munir, who was appointed as the 17th Army Chief of Pakistan, two days after assuming office.
