Comprehensive Hajj ritual training for Over 69,000 Pilgrims

The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has announced the commencement of the first phase of mandatory Hajj ritual training for over 69,000 intending pilgrims registered under the Government Scheme. The training is set to begin on February 12, spanning across seven Haji camps strategically located throughout the country.

In a statement released by a ministry spokesman, it was disclosed that the training program will unfold in two phases, with the second phase scheduled to commence after the conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan. Successful intending pilgrims will be notified of the training schedule through mobile messages and the dedicated Hajj app.

The comprehensive Hajj ritual training curriculum, finalized by Joint Secretary Administration Ahmed Nadeem Khan, Director General Syed Mushahed Hussain Khalid, and Chief Trainer Nasir Aziz Khan, places a strong emphasis on Hajj rituals, discipline, and administrative matters. During a recent training workshop attended by 90 ministry officers and officials, the chief hajj trainer highlighted the importance of these aspects.

The training sessions will take place at convenient local venues for the pilgrims, with the curriculum covering a wide range of topics. These include insights into the ‘Pak Hajj’ mobile app, guidance for Hajj preparations, understanding rituals, addressing challenges during Hajj, and providing general instructions.

To enhance the learning experience, model tents resembling the Mina Valley style have been set up at the training centers. Pilgrims will receive guidance from Master Trainers through the utilization of 3D videos and interactive question-and-answer sessions.

The spokesman further added that the second training phase will be initiated post-Ramadan, ensuring ample time for the intending pilgrims to absorb and apply the knowledge imparted during the training sessions. This innovative approach aims to equip pilgrims with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform Hajj rituals while fostering a sense of discipline and preparedness for the pilgrimage journey ahead.
