Consul General felicitates PBC Dubai’s new board of directors

DUBAI: Pakistan’s Consul General Hussain Muhammad congratulated the newly-elected board of directors of the Pakistan Business Council (PBC) Dubai.

Hussain Muhammad was the chief guest at a ceremony held at the Pakistan Association Dubai in honour of the newly elected PBC Dubai board of directors.

The event was attended by distinguished members of the business community, esteemed guests and members of Pakistani media based in UAE.

In his address, the Consul General extended his heartfelt gratitude to the outgoing board of directors for their service and dedication, and congratulated the newly elected board. He expressed the confidence that the new leadership would work to steer the council towards even greater accomplishments.

The Consul General also emphasised the longstanding and robust relationship between Pakistan and the UAE, which has been built on mutual respect, trust, and shared aspirations. He acknowledged the significant contributions of the Pakistani community in the UAE to the nation’s development and prosperity and underscored the pivotal role of the Pakistan Business Council in strengthening bilateral ties.

“The PBC serves as a dynamic platform for fostering trade, investment, and collaboration between Pakistan and the UAE,” Consul General Hussain Muhammad said. “I urge the new board to continue identifying and promoting sectors where both nations can collaborate for mutual benefit.”

He assured the new board of directors that the Consulate General of Pakistan would continue to work hand-in-hand with the PBC to advance shared economic and diplomatic goals, ensuring that the council remains a key advocate for Pakistani interests and a driving force for economic growth and cooperation.

Members of the outgoing and the new board also addressed the gathering. They highlighted the critical role of the PBC and its members in enhancing business-to-business collaboration between Pakistan and the UAE. They stressed the importance of maintaining strong ties and building upon the strategic partnership that exists between the two nations.
