DUBAI: In a commendable gesture of appreciation, Hussain Muhammad, the Consul General of Pakistan Consulate in Dubai, recently met Khalid Hussain Chaudry, President of the Pakistan Social Centre Sharjah (PSCS), and his dedicated team.
The meeting was held to honour the outstanding contributions made by the PSCS team during the recent floods, which had a devastating impact on Pakistani families.
The Consul General paid tribute to Khalid Hussain Chaudry and his team for their tireless efforts in providing essential food and water supplies to approximately 500 stranded Pakistani families during the crisis. Their dedication and swift action significantly alleviated the hardships faced by the flood-affected families, demonstrating exemplary community spirit and solidarity.
In recognition of their invaluable support and humanitarian efforts, the Consul General presented appreciation certificates to the president and key team members of PSCS.
Among those honoured were Faraz Ahmed Siddiqui, Imran Aslam, Sajjad Khan, Abdul Majid, and Mohammad Azam. Each certificate represented a token of gratitude from the Pakistani Consulate, highlighting the critical role played by these individuals in the relief operations.
This acknowledgment not only underscores the importance of community service but also reinforces the strong bond between the Pakistani Consulate and its community organisations in the UAE.
