DUBAI: The Pakistan Consulate General in Dubai hosted an event to promote the tourism potential of Pakistan.
The event was attended by Caretaker Minister of State for Tourism Wasi Shah, renowned Pakistani mountaineer Naila Kiyani, influential UAE nationals and members of the local Pakistani community.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE Faisal Niaz Tirmizi warmly welcomed the guests. He commended Naila Kiyani’s contribution in promoting women empowerment and highlighted Pakistan’s tourism potential.
He invited overseas Pakistanis and UAE nationals to explore Pakistan’s natural tourism potential.
Speaking on the occasion, Wasi Shah apprised the audience of Pakistan’s efforts to promote foreign and domestic tourism. He briefed the guests on the recent initiatives to encourage tourism, especially in Pakistan’s northern areas.
