Court Extends Bushra Bibi’s Interim Bail in Toshakhana Case

Islamabad: A district and session court in Islamabad has extended the interim bail of Bushra Bibi, the former first lady and wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan. This decision comes in connection with the ongoing Toshakhana case and extends her bail until October 31.

Bushra Bibi appeared before Additional Sessions Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra’s court accompanied by her legal team. Her legal counsel, Safdar, highlighted that she has consistently attended all court hearings related to the case. He, however, noted the absence of the prosecution in the court during the latest hearing.

In a related update, the sessions court has adjourned the hearing on the bail pleas of PTI Chairman Imran Khan until October 24, adding to the legal proceedings surrounding the case.
