LAHORE: A local court on Monday dismissed the post-arrest bail plea of popular YouTuber Saad ur Rehman, widely known as Ducky Bhai, in a case related to the promotion of illegal gambling and betting applications.
Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo announced the decision after hearing arguments from both sides. The prosecution argued that the YouTuber profited heavily from gambling apps, while the defence maintained the allegations were baseless and politically motivated.

Ducky Bhai was arrested by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) on August 17 from Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport and has since been in judicial custody. His lawyer, Advocate Chaudhry Usman Ali, argued that the apps in question were not declared illegal at the time, and no direct evidence of fraud or financial loss was presented.
The court, however, rejected the bail request and ordered that the accused remain in jail until the investigation concludes.
