Court suspended the notice to vacate Lal Haveli

Rawalpindi: A local court in Rawalpindi suspended the notice to vacate Lal Haveli of the abandoned waqf property.

According to Sources, Sheikh Rashid and his brother were given a notice to vacate Lal Haveli within seven days by the abandoned endowment property, which Sheikh Rashid challenged in the sessions court.

Today, the application of former interior minister Sheikh Rasheed was heard in front of Additional Sessions Judge Khursheed Alam Bhatti. Sheikh Rasheed’s lawyers took the position that the notice of the Department of Abandoned Waqf Properties is political revenge and should be suspended.

The session court said that the notice to vacate the Lal Haveli of the deputy administrator of the abandoned waqf property is being suspended.

The court also allowed an appeal against the Deputy Administrator’s order to vacate Lal Haveli and said that the petitioner can file an appeal against the decision of the Deputy Administrator to vacate Lal Haveli within 15 days.
