Islamabad: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Minister for Economic Affairs Ayaz Sadiq’s visit to America has been canceled due to the political situation.
According to Leading News, Ishaq Dar and Ayaz Sadiq were to leave for a visit to Washington where the Finance Minister was to attend IMF and World Bank meetings.
Apart from this, Ishaq Dar was also scheduled to have a sideline meeting with the IMF and US officials while the Finance Minister took the IMF officials into confidence regarding the staff-level agreement, but now the visit has been canceled due to the political situation.
