Islamabad: Imran Khan submitted an affidavit in the Islamabad High Court in the case of insulting statement against a female judge, in which Imran Khan assured the court that he would not see such statements in the future. And he has said that he is ready to apologize if the court thinks so.
According to sources, in the submitted affidavit, Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan said that he will fully follow what he said before the court in the last hearing. If the court says anything more to my satisfaction, I am ready to take further action in this regard.
Imran Khan said that if the judge thinks that the red line is crossed, then he is ready to apologize, he apologized to the court at the last hearing. I stand by the statement given in court on September 22 and will follow it.
He said that there was no intention to threaten the judge in the speech, taking action meant nothing but legal action, 26 years of struggle for the independence of the judiciary and the rule of law.
Imran Khan assured to be careful about the judiciary in the future and added that in the future I will not do anything that will harm the dignity of the judiciary, especially the subordinate judiciary.
