DOF Ajman raises its international quality certification count to 11

AJMAN: The Department of Finance in Ajman continues its strategic approach, ensuring the quality and effectiveness of its performance across various areas of operation in line with international best practices.

The Department has added three new certifications to its record of excellence from the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) in recognition of its compliance with the ISO 44001, ISO 10015, and ISO 37000:2021 standards.

ISO 44001 focuses on assessing the requirements of the partnership management system within the department, to ensure the effective development and management of its relationships with partners, to achieve the shared objectives of all stakeholders. The ISO 10015 standard provides a framework for the continuous evaluation and development of the Department’s competency management and training system, ensuring that training programs are aligned with the needs of its staff and strategic objectives.

Recognising the importance of institutional governance in achieving sound management, the Department of Finance in Ajman has embraced the principles of good governance in accordance with the ISO 37000:2021 standards. This enables the department to optimise resource utilisation, achieve sustainable growth, and improve the efficiency of operations management, ultimately fortifying the confidence of all clients and partners in its services.
