DUBAI: The Dubai Police, represented by the General Department of Human Rights, Bur Dubai Police Station, Positive Spirit Initiative, Women’s Police Council, Victim Support Department, and in collaboration with private sector partners including Dulsco Group, Al Bajoo Group, and Cobra Fitness Club, celebrated International Workers’ Day on May 1.
This celebration is part of the community initiatives launched by Dubai Police to reach all segments of society, including workers who play a vital role in the progress and contribute to the development witnessed by the Emirate of Dubai and the United Arab Emirates.
The celebration, attended by nearly 500 workers in the Al Quoz Industrial Area, included an awareness lecture on workers’ legal rights and the importance of adhering to health and safety instructions in workplaces. In addition, various entertaining sports competitions and activities were organised, along with the distribution of gifts and dinner meals.
