DUBAI: The Dubai Police General Command has signed two memoranda of understandings (MoUs) with two official knowledge partners for the World Police Summit (WPS) 2023 — the KPMG Lower Gulf Limited and the Sia Partners FZ LLC.
The WPS 2023 will take place from March 7-9 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
The two MoUs were signed by Brigadier Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al Mualla, Director of the General Department of Excellence and Pioneering at Dubai Police, in the presence of officials from all sides.
The first MoU with KPMG LG was signed by Mr. Chucrallah Haddad, Head of KPMG LG Advisory. The second MoU with Sia Partners was signed by Mr. Cesar Moukarzel, Managing Director of Sia Partners.
Brig. Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al Mualla expressed his enthusiasm about this cooperation, which aims to join forces to enhance achieving the desired results that the World Police Summit aspires to achieve.
He stressed that both knowledge partners have a leading position in the world in providing knowledge consultations and issuing scientific and research reports, wishing to produce fruitful results that contribute to achieving the summit’s goals.
Following the signing of the MoU, Mr. Haddad said: “We are delighted to partner with Dubai Police to become an official knowledge partner of the World Police Summit this year. We strive to lead with our expertise on digitalisation of public services, forensics, cybersecurity and innovative business solutions for the betterment of society. We are also eager to contribute to these conversations in a city such as Dubai, where investment in the latest technology comes hand in hand with its highest levels of safety and citizen wellbeing.”
Under the signed MoU, the parties intend to work together on the World Police Summit, which will entail establishing conferences covering six topics. The KPMG will operate as official knowledge by providing reports on the six conference topics, documenting comments collected during the conferences, and conducting interviews with experts and speakers to finalise the WPS report and submitted to the Dubai Police.
Commenting on the signed MoU, Mr. Moukarzel said: “We are honoured to be part of this prestigious event and to contribute to the important work being done by Dubai Police in promoting international collaboration and cooperation in law enforcement”.
“As a knowledge partner, we are committed to providing insights and solutions to help enhance global security and support the goals of the World Police Summit,” he added.
Under the signed MoU, the parties intend to work together on the World Police Summit. The Sia Partners will operate as official knowledge to provide experts to attend and moderate a specific number of agreed-upon sessions, suggestions on potential participating organisations, input on the main round tables discussion challenges, and prepare post-session reports for each session held.
