Dubai to Host Region’s Largest Korean Cultural Showcase: 2025 K-Expo UAE

Four-day mega event to spotlight K-culture, AI innovation, and Korea-UAE collaboration.

DUBAI: The region’s biggest celebration of Korean culture and industries, 2025 K-Expo UAE: All About K-Style, will take place in Dubai from November 15–18, 2025, bringing together creativity, technology, and cross-cultural innovation under one platform.

Organised by South Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) and the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), the four-day expo aims to deliver a comprehensive and sustainable K-culture business and entertainment experience to the Middle East.

Designed to accelerate global collaboration, K-Expo will link Korea’s cultural exports — such as K-pop, K-food, K-beauty, and design — with emerging industries like AI, entertainment technology, and tourism. Dubai’s status as a regional innovation hub and its strategic partnership with Korea make it a fitting host for this landmark edition.

Two iconic venues, one global vision

The event will span two major Dubai locations — Global Village and Dubai World Trade Centre — catering to both business and consumer audiences. Visitors will experience interactive technology displays, including:

  • Sidewalk Entertainment’s “STEPIN” motion-tracking AI dance challenge;

  • A.PEN’s “One Minute Go” AI-driven short-form video creation tool; and

  • Emotionwave’s AI-powered music education platforms.

LG Electronics will also participate, debuting its FAST service, LG Channels, in the UAE — the first stop in its Middle East rollout — and will host an Experience Zone featuring diverse free programming.

Rak-Kyun Kim, Head of Global Innovation Division at KOCCA, said: “K-Expo is a venue where the creativity of content companies meets the technologies of large, medium, and small enterprises to present a new, mutually beneficial business model. The Dubai edition will help expand Korea’s collaborative innovation worldwide.”

Expanding cooperation and cultural connection

The event will further strengthen Korea-UAE government-level cooperation, with Dubai Holdings partnering to make Global Village the main exhibition venue.

National Korean organizations will host immersive public experience zones:

  • K-Food Zone and live shows by Korea Agro-Fisheries and Food Trade Corporation (aT);

  • K-Beauty demonstrations by Korea Cosmetic Industry Institute (KCII);

  • K-Tourism exhibits by Korea Tourism Organization (KTO);

  • K-Design showcases by Korea Institute of Design Promotion (KIDP); and

  • Cultural heritage displays by National Museum Foundation of Korea (NMF) under its MU:DS brand.

Korea Trade Insurance Corporation (K-SURE) will offer on-site export counselling to help companies expand into global markets.

The expo will also integrate local participation, with volunteers from Dubai’s K-Culture Supporters program and regional Korean Wave fan groups helping to organize performances and cultural activities.

Largest Korean delegation to the Middle East

K-Expo UAE will feature representatives from six Korean ministries, 12 national institutions, and 226 companies, marking one of the largest official Korean delegations ever sent to the region.

Participating ministries include Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs; Oceans and Fisheries; Health and Welfare; Trade, Industry and Energy; and SMEs and Startups.

Positioned at the crossroads of global trade, Dubai will serve as the pinnacle venue for the 2025 K-Expo global series — celebrating the growing power of Korea-UAE cooperation and the future of international cultural exchange.
