Singapore: Sunset Hospitality Group (SHG) has announced the international launch of L’Amo Bistrò del Mare, the award-winning coastal Italian restaurant that first opened in Dubai Harbour in 2022, with its second location now set in METT Singapore at historic Fort Canning Park.
A homegrown Dubai success story, L’Amo Bistrò del Mare has rapidly become one of the region’s most celebrated dining destinations. Inspired by Italy’s coastal lifestyle, the restaurant embodies Mediterranean culture, gastronomy, and convivial charm. Its Singapore debut marks the next chapter in the restaurant’s global expansion, bringing Italian culinary excellence and hospitality to Asia.
The restaurant has been recognised with prestigious accolades, including Best Italian Restaurant at the Time Out Awards 2025 and Due Forchette by Gambero Rosso, underscoring its position at the pinnacle of Italian cuisine. The Singapore opening not only strengthens its international footprint but also signals SHG’s strategy to expand homegrown brands globally.
Under the direction of Chef Sperindio, the menu showcases Italy’s coastal gastronomy with signature dishes such as Le Tre Tartare, featuring a trio of Mediterranean tartares with sea bass, tuna belly, and Sicilian red prawns from Mazara del Vallo; Spaghettone Cacio & Pepe con Uni, a luxurious twist on the Roman classic with sea urchin; and Costolette d’Agnello alla Brace, 36-hour marinated lamb chops grilled over charcoal. Each dish reflects L’Amo’s philosophy of simplicity, freshness, and elegance, blending traditional Italian techniques with Dubai’s innovative culinary spirit.
The restaurant’s interiors, designed in neutral beige and wood tones, evoke the breezy sophistication of a Mediterranean harbour. Subtle floral patterns, alfresco seating, and the lush surroundings of Fort Canning Park create an inviting atmosphere that transitions from lively daytime dining to romantic evenings with live piano performances and curated Italian music.
