Islamabad: The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Federal Cabinet has approved the increase in the prices of commonly used drug Paracetamol.
According to the details, the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) meeting of the cabinet was held under the chairmanship of Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar. In which the members also approved the revised prices agreed with the pharmaceutical companies for paracetamol.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the price of a 500 mg plain paracetamol tablet has been approved to be increased from Rs 1.87 to Rs 2.35.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the price of 500 mg paracetamol extra tablet has been approved to be increased from 2.19 rupees to 2.75 rupees. was Apart from this, it has been approved to increase the price of Paracetamol Syrup from Rs.104.8 to Rs.117.6.
In addition, the ECC approved amendments in the Import Policy Order 2022 to allow conditional permission for printing and publishing error-free Holy Quran and import. In the meeting, the import of the Holy Quran was made subject to the NOC of the relevant federal and provincial authorities.
In the meeting, a technical supplementary grant of one billion rupees was also approved for the Ministry of Housing and Works. The ECC approved providing a technical supplementary grant of Rs 30.88 crore 85 lakh to the Defense Service Defense Division for the current financial year for its critical needs.
The ECC has also approved Rs.1 billion 378 million for the payment of salaries to the employees of Pakistan Steel Mills for the current financial year. The meeting has also approved a fifteen-year development and production lease for Kandhkot Mining.
