ECP de-notifies 43 more PTI MNAs

ISLAMABAD: As many as 43 more Members of the National Assembly (MNAs) belonging to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf were de-notified by the Election Commission of Pakistan on Wednesday.

National Assembly Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf had accepted their resignations a day earlier.

According to an ECP notification, the resignations of the PTI lawmakers have been approved with immediate effect.

Now only the dissident members of PTI remain in the National Assembly. The resignations of all other 123 MNAs have been accepted.

The de-notified MNAs include Anwar Taj, Muhammad Yaqoob Shaikh, Gul Zafar Khan, Jawad Hussain, Tahir Sadiq, Zulfiqar Ali Khan, Haji Imtiaz Ahmed Choudhary, Malik Muhammad Ehsan Ullah Tiwana, Raza Nasrullah, Muhammad Riaz Khan, Muhammad Mehboob Sultan, Muhammad Ameer Sultan, Rahat Aman Ullah Bhatti, Rai Muhammad Murtaza Iqbal, Mian Muhammad Shafiq, Muhammad Farooq Azam Malik, Javed Iqbal, Muhammad Shabbir Ali, Niaz Ahmed, Khawaja Sheraz Mehmood, Sardar Muhammad Khan Leghari, Sardar Nasrullah Khan Dreshak, Munaza Hassan, Dr Seemin Abdul Rehman Bokhari, Sobia Kamal Khan, Nausheen Hamid, Rubina Jamil, Fauzia Behram, Rukhsana Naveed, Tashfeen Safdar, Syma Nadeem, Ghazala Saifi, Nusrat Wahid, Nafeesa Inayatullah Khan Khattak, Sajida Begum, Nooreen Farooq Khan, Uzma Riaz, Zille Huma, Shaheen Naz Saifullah, Lal Chand, Shunila Ruth, Jai Parkash and Jamshed Thomas.
