The Election Commission has decided to use modern technology in the upcoming general elections to ensure that it has hired the services of PTCL.
A survey was launched to find out the internet and other issues in the district level offices.
According to the Election Commission, modern technology will be installed in all district election commission offices, while electronic system upgrades and internet access will be ensured in district-level offices.
District Election Commissioners have been instructed to fully cooperate with PTCL teams. In the upcoming general elections, the use of modern technology will help in timely election results.
The Election Commission has also sent a copy of the letter to the offices established in Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
