Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has taken a significant step by sending a formal letter to the Secretary of the Establishment Division, urging the recall of officers who have been posted in various provinces for a duration exceeding three years.
In a bid to streamline administrative resources, the ECP has also instructed the Secretary of the Establishment Division to furnish a comprehensive list of these officers within the next three to four days.
Furthermore, this directive from the Election Commission encompasses officers belonging to the Secretariat Group, OMG, and ex-cadre services. However, it is noteworthy that officers serving in the Police and Pakistan Administrative Service have been exempted from this recall initiative, emphasizing the importance of continuity in these crucial roles.
