Elahi is not constitutional but judicial chief minister, Tarar

Islamabad: Federal Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar has said that the constitution and the law give the governor full authority to call for a vote of confidence, the president and the governor are not bound by any advice in this matter, Pervaiz Elahi is not a constitutional but a judicial chief minister.

According to leading news, while talking to the media in Lahore, the Law Minister said that this authority is completely with the President in each National Assembly and the Governor in the Provincial Assembly. The Governor used his constitutional authority, claiming that we are the majority. Why did they run away again?

Azam Nazir Tarar said that you should take a vote of confidence and decide whether to keep or dissolve the assembly. If Pervez Elhi gets 186 votes, he will be the constitutional chief minister, but now he is the judicial chief minister, the court has said unnecessary.

He further said that the courts are requested to be constitutional in such cases as they have far-reaching consequences, the courts intervene when there is an attempt to break the constitution.
