Rawalpindi: Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa interacted with officers and troops on the occasion of his farewell visit to Bahawalpur and Okara formation.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army, on the occasion of the farewell visit, the Army Chief also observed the Integrated Firepower Maneuver Exercise at Khairpur Tamiwali.
According to ISPR, Bahawalpur Corps troops, JF-17 Thunder jets, Cobra gunship helicopters displayed coordinated firepower on this occasion.
Appreciating the quality of training, operational readiness and high morale of the officers and troops, General Qamar Javed Bajwa directed the soldiers to continue serving the nation with traditional zeal and enthusiasm in all circumstances.
On the occasion of the visit, the Army Chief also laid a wreath at the martyrs’ memorial in Bahawalpur.
